| Take caps off both the MDI and your spacer | Put MDI into opening on the back of the spacer |

| Shake the whole unit for 5 - 10 seconds | While sitting upright or standing, blow all the air OUT of your lungs |

| Place the mouthpiece of the spacer in mouth, between teeth, tightly sealing lips around it. | Depress the canister of MDI once while taking a SLOW DEEP breath - hold your breath for 5 - 10 seconds |
