Health Research Ethics Board

All research conducted at a Covenant Health facility must first be reviewed and approved by the Health Research Ethics Board.

Health Ethics Handbooks

A Handbook of Health Ethics was prepared by a multi-disciplinary committee at the University of Alberta and is endorsed by Alberta Health Services and the Provincial Health Ethics Network. You can purchase this handbook from the Bioethics department at the University of Alberta.

Covenant Health is a member of the Catholic Health Association of Canada and uses the Health Ethics Guide published by the Association to guide its work.
