Northern Alberta Continence Service/Urodynamics Testing
Northern Alberta Continence is a community outreach program at the Misericordia Community Hospital that provides assessment and treatment for people with chronic incontinence.  The Urodynamics Clinic offers a service tht diagnoses and treats individuals with insufficient bladder control.

Staff includes experienced Registered Nurses who work with patients and their family or caregivers to provide information, advice, assessments and referrals. A continence help line, fact sheets and resource centre have also been established in response to community need.

Specially-trained staff conduct the urodynamics testing that is offered at the Misericordia Community Hospital.  Urodynamics is a test to see how well a patient's bladder is working by taking measurements and x-rays of the bladder. Urodynamics testing is done for people who have had bladder problems such as leaking, urgency or frequency.
