The Satellite Club is a social and recreation club that meets every Thursday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in  the Mental Health Program.

Run by Occupational Therapy and Recreation Therapy staff and volunteers, the Satellite Club works to ensure that individuals with mental illnesses are given the opportunity to expand their options for leisure, sports and social interaction. It also strives to provide a link between the Grey Nuns Hospital and the community by promoting community awareness and involvement.

Membership in the Satellite Club is open to current and former patients of the Mental Health program, friends and family members of individuals with mental health concerns, and other community members. Those interested in joining the Satellite Club are not required to have any past or present affiliation with the hospital.
