The Grey Nuns Rehabilitation Outreach Services offer several programs and services for people who have recently completed rehabilitation after an injury or illness, or for those who wish to become active after being sedentary. Many of the participants in the programs have not been involved in physical activity since their youth, and are motivated to become more active because of health concerns.
Staff at the Rehabilitation Outreach Services are highly qualified fitness and massage professionals. The Service works in collaboration with community partners: Millwoods Recreation Centre; the Arthritis Society; Capital Health Community Rehabilitation Program; seniorsˇ¦ residences; and church groups.
