Eating Disorder Prevention and Body Image Education Program
Operating out of the Foods and Nutrition Department at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital the Body Image Education Program has developed resources for the early screening and intervention of eating disorders as well as materials to help children and their families understand body image.

Workshops on this topic have been provided for health professionals and women's groups as well as more than 10,000 school-aged students in Alberta.

The latest initiative involves a 2001 research grant from the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research for "Eating Disorder Prevention in Schools: A Wellness Approach". This project developed and evaluated a wellness-based education program called "Making the Most of ME".
