PAID Leaves

Bereavement Leave:

Is granted at the request of the employee and shall be in accordance with Covenant's Bereavement Policy.


Jury / Witness Duty:

An employee required by law to appear in court as a juror or as a witness for matters arising out of employment with Covenant Health, is granted necessary leave of absence from duty with pay. 


Personal Leave Days:

Full time and part-time management and exempt employees shall be entitled to up to six (6) Personal Leave Days during each fiscal year (April 1 – March 31) of employment.

UNPAID Leaves

Maternity/Adoption Leave:

An employee who has completed their probationary period is eligible for up to twelve (12) months of unpaid maternity or adoption leave, or such shorter period as may be requested by the employee.


Other Leaves (personal, education, etc.):

Application for Leave of Absence without pay should be made in writing and may be granted to a permanent employee at the discretion of the employer.
