Thirty years ago this summer, I finished nursing school. Earning $450.00 per month, I was ready to take on the world. I had no idea about being an employee, or looking for a good, safe place to work. I hadn't heard about respect or enrichment in terms of employment, although I knew instinctively that I wanted those very things. Thank you Caritas for helping us enrich our minds by encouraging us to keep learning. We have been able to provide better care because of it. Thank you for reminding us of the importance of the spiritual aspect of life, no matter what religion a person practices. It has made us more responsive to all peoples needs.
